Ramsey Kawar has been a litigator for over 24 years. His practice encompasses many areas of employment and business litigation in California and federal courts, ranging in complexity from single party cases to class actions. Ramsey’s litigation focus includes employment class actions, Private Attorney General Act (PAGA) claims, discrimination, harassment, and wrongful termination lawsuits, union negotiations and he has represented employers in multiple grievance arbitrations. He has tried cases to verdict in both jury and bench trials.

Mr. Kawar also advises employers in developing employment documentation such as handbooks, onboarding and interviewing practices. He is a regular resource for his clients when employment issues arise on a day-to-day basis, including disciplinary concerns, terminations and severance agreements.

Mr. Kawar is a member of the State Bar of California and is admitted to practice before the Northern, Central and Eastern federal district courts in California. He is a member of the labor and employment section of the California State Bar. He serves the community through advice and assistance to nonprofit organizations, and enjoys traveling and spending time in the mountains with his family.

He is a graduate of UC Berkeley, Santa Clara School of Law (JD) and Leavey School of Business (MBA).
