Biography
Maggie specializes in employment litigation and counseling of businesses, nonprofit organizations, and individuals. She has represented clients in California state and federal courts, as well as before the California Labor Commissioner, CA Unemployment Insurance Appeals Board (CUIAB), DFEH, and EEOC, and has successfully obtained favorable results for both plaintiffs and defendants in employment cases.
Maggie has experience with wage and hour, employment discrimination, sexual harassment, and misclassification lawsuits. She provides payroll practices audits, as well as handbook review to ensure compliance with state law.
She serves on the San Mateo County Bar Association Barristers Board of Directors, and is active with the Labor & Employment and Women Lawyers sections.
Outside of work, Maggie enjoys spending time with her family, singing with Masterworks Chorale of San Mateo, and spinning homemade ice cream.
